How Do I Obtain A Home Visit?

If you are too ill to come to the Surgery a home visit may be requested. Whenever possible please telephone before 10.30. It will be helpful if you give the receptionist some details of the patient´s condition as this will help the Doctors plan their visits.

It would be appreciated if patients could attend the surgery when possible, as home visits are extremely time consuming and often do not allow for full examination, investigation and treatment.

Lack of transport is not a valid reason for a home visit. Our reception team can assist you with information on how to arrange transport. You may also receive a telephone call from a doctor to discuss the need for a visit.
